High School Guidance Counselor

Date Available:  2023-2024 School Year

Description:   Erskine Academy, an independent Town Academy in South China, Maine, seeks a full-time guidance counselor to join a well-established guidance department beginning with the 2023-2024 school year.  An integral component of student success, Erskine Academy’s guidance counselors serve as essential mentors and advocates for students throughout their high school years and beyond.  Counselors are central in assisting students with social/emotional issues, career planning, course selection, and the process of financial aid.

Erskine Academy is located in the rural lakes region of central Maine, 15 minutes outside of Augusta and Waterville.  Having a long and distinguished history of serving local students from eight surrounding towns, EA is known for its outstanding student climate and robust academic program.

Qualifications:  Guidance Counselor (075 Certification Required)

Deadline for Applications:   Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and positions will be filled when a suitable candidate is found.
