Fully Remote (Cohort C) Instruction Information

Given the reasonable concern regarding Covid-19 transmission during the holiday season, Erskine Academy reduced the mandatory time frame for individuals registered in our remote learning program, initially requiring students to remain remote through the entire second trimester. The new date of eligible return to in-person learning is set for January 19th. As promised, this message and attached form is your opportunity to decide if your student will return to in-person hybrid learning on January 19th or remain in our remote learning program.

As has been the process throughout this year, only families who intend to access EA’s remote learning program for the remainder of the second trimester need to complete the form. The deadline to register for the remote learning program is next Wednesday, January 13, 2021. The form will be closed, and the link no longer operable as of that date. This set deadline permits us the ability to evaluate classroom numbers and, should space be available on January 19th, allows us to open access to in-person learning for students who may need additional support.  Please access the form at the following link:  https://forms.gle/fnk6B4Kyr6xaUHPh6.

One final informational note, second-trimester progress reports will be finalized and communicated to parents on Friday, January 29, 2021.

In closing, I would like to take a moment and thank you more than ever for your patience and understanding in this most unprecedented time. The entire Erskine Academy professional community joins me in saying that the spirit of cooperation and partnership felt between us and our families has been motivating and heartwarming. Now, more than ever, we are committed to doing everything in our power to provide students and families the finest educational experience possible given our circumstances. We enthusiastically look forward to welcoming our entire student body and you, our parents, back to campus as one cohesive school community once the impact of Covid-19 begins to fade and state regulations permit.
