Technology Mission Statement:

Erskine Academy holds firm in its primary mission to provide students a quality education which will enable them to achieve their potential and realize their goals. Increasingly, technological capabilities are driving both personal and professional success; therefore, student potential is maximized through comprehensive technology integration within the curriculum. Furthermore, advances in technology have created school wide efficiencies for students, faculty, and administration resulting in increased time spent on curriculum and instructional objectives. Erskine Academy's technology mission is to provide an efficient learning environment and an experience that will prepare the student for continuing levels of education and to be an effective member of the workforce from a technological perspective.

Technology Vision:

Erskine Academy understands how technology integrates into the total life experience of all its students. The use of technology in education and the work place has increased at a rapid rate during the last 20 years. In its continuous evolution, technology is central to success in an increasing number of personal and professional venues.

Technology best functions as a means to an end and not the end itself. Therefore, for optimum results, technology will be integrated into an already existing curriculum aimed at meeting and or exceeding the educational standards provided in the Maine State Learning Results.

Staff
Staff includes a full time Director of Technology who is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer/CompTIA Security+ certified individual.
