The Myrtle H. Austin Library is proud to carry the name of a much-loved teacher and Librarian of Erskine Academy. Mrs. Austin served our Academy for 44 years, starting in 1929 up through 1983. Today we carry on her fine tradition of service to our faculty and student population of well over 700 students. Facilities include two separate computer labs that are available for individual student or class work plus additional individual stations and laptops within the main library. Electronic resources are available to students through the Maine State Library Databases, in addition to numerous other online resources. Our Print collection of approximately 11,000 volumes encompasses a broad range of reference, non-fiction and fiction works. New volumes are constantly being added to the collection through out the year ensuring an active diverse collection of materials.

Mission Statement
